ロボワーム・ネッドワーム “Ned Worms”
あの ハンドポワードワーム(手流し) で有名な ロボワーム社から ネッドリグ専用のワームが発売される。全体的に 短いフォルムの３インチ、長めで 艶かしく動く 4.5インチ。これらのワームは既に 機械で生産されているが、7色に輝く独自な オールドスクール ロボ製法は健在となっている。
*ハンドポワードワーム の特徴としては 素材が柔らかく浮力が高く。シェイク や フォールにより艶めかしい動きが出せる。さらに、色も繊細なカラー調節が出来るため、パープルウィニー [画像] などの伝説となったカラー はこの方法でしか作ることが出来ない。ただ、弱点としては 流し込み製法なので ヒゲや足等を備えた 複雑な形に対応 することが出来ず、シンプルなストレート系のワームのみとなってしまう。
ネッドリグ/ネドリグとは？・・・アメリカミッドウェスト発祥のライトリグ。通称：ミッドウェストフィネス とも呼ばれ、冬の厳寒期に多様されるリグである。元々は ギド・ヒブドン氏等 や 地元のガイド陣によって 古くから使われていたリグであった。このリグを世に知らしめたのは Ned Kehde氏という フィッシングライターで 彼がスモールジグヘッドに 某社の短いワームをセットして使った事が 紹介されて “ネッドリグ” と呼ばれるようになった。デフォルトは ジグヘッドに３インチ程の ワームセットして使用するが、近年では ネッドリグに対する解釈も細分化されてきており、専用のマッシュルームタイプ のジグヘッド等も 発売されている。ちなみに ネコリグ と ネッドリグ は同じだと思っている アメリカ人も多いらしい。*全米黒鱒仕掛け 名人秘密大前書より

Very effectively on a wacky rig, drop shot, and Carolina-rig as well, the Roboworm Ned Worm is a deadly finesse bait any way you want to use it.
Poured with Roboworm’s state-of-the-art robotic pouring system, which creates well defined colors similar to old school hand pours, but more consistent, it is also equipped with a Salt Release System that provides a burst of salt when a fish bites to make them hold on longer for better hooksets.
