米時間7月10~13日に米仏州の オーランド コンベンションセンターで開催される「ICAST 2018」世界最大級の国際釣り博、ICAST(アイキャスト) は International Convention of Allied Sportfishing Trades の略で世界中から 釣り具のバイヤーが集まるコンベンションとなっている。日本のフィッシングショーは 2月下旬から開催されるが、米国の場合は初夏に開催される。つまり新製品はこの時期に発表される事となる。そんな 新製品の中から気になるアイテムを10選紹介いたします。

米国ICAST 2018 ~気になる新製品10点~

ミサイルベイト社から発売される新製品。その名も ボンム・ショット 全長は４インチサイズで リブの入った ボディに細い ビーバーテール が設計されたワームとなる。また ソリッド調なヘッドはリグをしっかりと止めれる様に設計されている。一度、水中に入ったら常にワームが動くだろう。10色のラインナップ、値段は3.99セントとなる。

一昨年の ベスト・オブ・ルアー賞 を獲得した ライブターゲット社 からの新製品。例のホローボディーシリーズの続編ルアー。今回は ザリガニ をイミテートした ホローボディー・クロー となる。独立設計された テール＆ハサミ は単独で動き 本物チックに艶めかしく動きます。無くさなければ 半永久的に使用できるルアーとなっています。

ここ数年で 一番売れたシャロークランクベイト が KVD1.5 となる。その威力を世に知らしめたのが、2011年の バスマスタークラシック in ルイジアネデルタ戦 でウィニングベイトとなった。今回の紹介する商品は ケビンバンダムが数年前から 密かにプロトタイプを使用していた事で有名な KVD 1.5 Deep となる。ケビンバンダム曰く “通常の1.5でも 全く問題は無いのだが、もう少しだけ深くサーチしたい時に使用したい” らしい。このルアーは最深で3メートル潜らせる事が可能との事だ。

バークレー社から発売されるルアー。こちらは ジャスティンルーカス によってプロデュースされた チョッポー で 最近の流行でもある ソフト樹脂系のプロップベイト となる。サイズは 100サイズ と 120サイズ がラインナップされている。

ハードベイト老舗メーカ ラパラ社 から発売される新型のミノー リップストップ 最尾にセットされた 小型の 逆テーパフィン がミノーを停止させた時に独自のモーションを生み出すらしい。スローなアクション から 早巻き までしっかりと ルアーが動く事をコンセプトに制作したとの事です。

アブガルシア社から発売されるリール。これは マイクアイコネリ限定モデル でカラーはマジョーラに塗装された カスタムモデルとなる。ハイギアモデル と ローギアモデル の２タイプが発売される。気になるお値段は 約22000円 となる。

こちらも アブガルシア社から発売されるロッド。これは マイクアイコネリ限定モデル でカラーはマジョーラに塗装された カスタムモデルとなる。今回は 36t ハイモジュールグラファイト で巻き上げられた ディレイモデルシリーズ(低弾性) ブランクは ハイステイングラス(HSG)という素材が使用されている。クランクベイト等のファーストムービング系には良い評価が出ている。

ミンコタ社から発売される ポータブルデジタルバッテリーチャージャー 外気温に合わせて自動的に内部の調整も行うらしい。デジタルにて電流管理を行うらしく しっかりと充電が行われるらしい。

ミンコタ社から発売される ポールアンカー タロン 今年 発売されるモデルはニューモデルでシャロー専用の設計(4.5mまで)となるらしい。今年からは ブルーツースでリンクが取れるらしく、ハミンバードの魚探からも操作できるらしい。

ハミンバード社から フィッシュスマートアプリ というものが発表される。これはスマホに対応した GPS魚探 のデータで全米中の 1500湖 以上のデータが アプリストア から ダウンロード できるらしい。基本となるマップが ハミンバードが手がけている LakeMaster maps(高画質湖マップ) をベースにアップロードしていくらしい。

The Bomb Shot
The Bomb Shot is a 4-inch bait that is based on the super popular D Bomb shape with a ribbed body and a thin beaver shaped tail.
