今春のICAST2015にて発表された、クランクベイト「Berkley® Wild Thang 8.5 」が遂にリリースされた。このクランクはクランクベイトの伝道師 David Fritts 氏によってデザインされたモノ。あのラパラのDT-FLATクランクと同じ設計者でリップの形状も似ている。 リップは棺桶型（Coffin）で徹底的にカバーを狙う様に設計されているらしい。またアクションはチンチコリン（erratic hunting）を売りにしているらしい。
